Why go abroad when you can ride your bike in Stirling?

Good Question!

Well, sometimes the kit is cheaper and the sometimes the hills are bigger.

But the main reason is to try the ice cream!

I spent two years in America riding the bike and consuming large quantities of ice cream.

A recent (2003) trip was to Colorado Springs.

In recent years I have undertaken several tours abroad. These have generally been tours run by the CTC (Cyclists’ Touring Club).

These have included tours of Scotland, Ireland, Norway (1999 and 2004) Nova Scotia, Italy, Iceland, and Majorca.
